Wild Weekend
Last weekend I took a 4 day journey down to Charlotte to see some homies & possibly stack some clips for an upcoming edit and while there wasn’t much clip stacking going on nor much photo snapping going on from my end there was plenty of crazy antics, incredible bike riding, insane stories, sweaty t-shirts, and wild times. Weekend take aways for me were Iron Maiden & Alice Cooper rocking my socks off. Matt Wilson doing a crazy grind down a rail that I can’t even comprehend? Jeff Junkins shredding his bike, shin, & foot but not necessarily in that order. Steven Pierce being the king of anything involving two feet & two pegs. Evan Scott Voss destroying everything in his path with a giant smile on his face the whole time. Zach Rogers being dialed at every spot. Phil Jones making filming look easy and edits look easier. Seriously though Phil & Zach run the film game in Charlotte, these two dudes shut down spots everywhere they go. Chris Turner telling some of the craziest stories I’ve ever heard & only seen examples of on the internet. My homie Tyler & me sweating through ever shirt we own. John Rogers late night Sunday funday session. Insane rope swing at the lake. Incredible wings at the Wing King. NODA looking fresh as ever. Beers, beers, & more beers. Heat so hot dudes were down to their underoo’s just to bust some moves… I just want to give a big shout out to Matt for letting me crash at his crib and all the other Charlotte boys who made this past weekend so memorable and for reminding me why I still ride a little kids bike. |
